Potters Wheel Studio and Gallery in Door County

We are sad to announce that Abraham Cohn, master potter and owner of the Potters Wheel, passed away on May 10, 2013. The Potters Wheel will therefore be closing permanently in July.

The family of Abraham and Ginka Cohn sincerely thank Abe and Ginka’s many friends and fellow artists for their unending camaraderie and loyalty. We appreciate the wider community’s great affection and respect. We thank the potters and other artists whose outstanding work beautifully graced the gallery; we thank our employees for their warm customer service. And we’re very grateful to the Potters Wheel’s countless visitors, whose enthusiasm, affection and devotion made Abe and Ginka’s life here not only possible, but ultimately fulfilling.
